Iranian and Italian culinary instructors in Seattle join forces in support of Ukrainian refugees.
Inspired by Chef Jose Andres, who said “we should build longer tables, not higher walls”, chefs Omid Roustaei and Paola Albanesi will teach a lively online cooking class to raise funds for Ukrainian refugees.
Food reminds us that nations have more in common than what divides them. A great example is the similar dishes known as frittata in Italy and kuku in Iran. Paola will prepare Frittata agli Spinaci (Frittata with spinach and Parmigiano cheese), while Omid will demonstrate Kuku Sabzi (fresh herb and barberry frittata). Tips and flips will be plenty!
Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10 am PST (Online via Zoom)
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
All ticket sales and any additional donations will go directly to World Central Kitchen to support families fleeing Ukraine and residents still remaining in the country.
We hope you can join us, cook along, and support this great cause.
